Join Edible Chicago and Brooklyn Brewery for a summer celebration of great drink, food and conversation at the newly expanded Hopleaf hotspot in the Andersonville neighborhood on Monday, August 13 from 6PM-9PM.
Brooklyn Brewery will be debuting their latest Brew master’s Reserve series, Fiat Lux. It’s citrusy and aromic – a perfect thirst quencher on a sizzling hot summer evening or a Saturday BBQ with friends. Guests for the evening will get a complimentary glass of Fiat Lux and also a selection of 10oz pour of Brooklyn Craft Beers for only $3.00 all night!
Not only will guests be able to get a first taste of Fiat Lux on us, we’ll have amazing food pairings courtesy of Edible Chicago’s friends. With a selection of cheese pairings provided by Hopleaf, Su Jang of New Rose Catering of Oak Park will be offering Asian influenced food pairings, Chef Patrick Williams of Grandpa Boo’s BBQ Sauce will be providing wings with his famed family recipe BBQ sauce, and Stu Water’s of stu’s Sour Pickles will be showcasing his amazing locally sourced sour pickles. He will also be debuting their “Baking Spice” Beets just for the event!
So round up some of your thirsty friends and colleagues after work and head over to Hopleaf on Monday, August 13 at 6PM! Edible Chicago also celebrates four year in publication with the summer issue, so we’ll be drinkin’ up Brooklyn Brews, handing out complimentary magazines and offering some other fun surprises to our guests in celebration of our 4th year in publication.
