WTTW’s Check, Please! television show starring Host and Master Sommelier Alpana Singh, will travel to Southwestern Michigan’s Wine Country on Sunday, September 2 to host their first annual Farm to Table Festival on the estate property at the Round Barn Winery. Many renowned chefs from Chicago and Michigan – 40 altogether - will be in attendance including Chicago’s Mindy Segal, Chris Pandel, Michael and Patrick Sheerin, Jason Vincent, Cleetus Friedman to name a few guest chefs scheduled. The Chefs will be partnered with local family-owned farms including Mick Klug Farms, Iron Creek Farm, Green Acres Farm, Leaning Shed Farm, Seedling Orchard and Gunthrop Farm. “We’ve put together an amazing line-up of restuarants who’ve embraced the farm to table movement and teamed them up with incredible farms and artisans of Southwest Michigan. It promises to be an awesome tasting event, “ says David Manilow, Creator & Executive Producer of Check, Please!
Local spirits, beers and wines will also be featured along with live music, chef demos and gourmet tasting samples.
